Two years after its local debut, the Jetour Dashing – that has styling input from a Porsche designer – has received a mid-cycle update, bringing a revised exterior, additional features and an expanded suite of driver assistance systems.
The most notable mechanical upgrade is the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, forward-collision warning, blind-spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert. A 540-degree camera system, automatic high-beam control, front parking sensors, and a full complement of front, side and curtain crash bags round out the safety package.
The Dashing’s coupé-like silhouette remains its most obvious talking point. For the new model, Jetour has added a sharper front-end treatment, new 19-inch alloy rims, brushed-aluminium quad exhaust finishers and a panoramic glass roof as standard on higher specs.
Inside, the cabin gains a Sony eight-speaker premium audio setup, dual-zone climate control and heated and ventilated front seats. Luggage capacity sits at 486 litres, stretching to 977 litres with the second row folded.

Under the bonnet, the Dashing continues with a 1,5-litre turbo-charged petrol engine, producing 125 kW and 270 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Pricing starts at R429 900 for the Prestige variant and R479 900 for the Prime. Buyers can choose from six colours: Onyx Black, Slate Grey, Forest Green, Ash Grey, Crimson Red, and Glacier White.
Jetour backs the range with a 5-year/150 000 km warranty, a 5-year/75 000 km service plan, and a 10-year/1-million km engine warranty for the first owner.
