Mahindra has been proven to be reliable and a great value proposition since they launched here in SA around 18 years ago.

Recently it was announced that the new Scorpio and XUV700 will be coming to SA, but the date is still to be confirmed.

The SUV/Crossover market is growing at a rapid pace worldwide hence the decision to launch the XUV700

The XUV700 will be replacing the popular XUV500 and is from a technological point of view massively advanced compared to the XUV500

Advances includes a 360-degree parking camera, 3d Sony sound system, digital instrumentation and infotainment display and a whole lot of driver-assist and safety features.

There will be two engines available, a 2.2-litre diesel producing 114kW/360Nm and a 136kW/450Nm version. The second engine will be a 2.0-litre Turbo Petrol engine producing a strong 147kW/380Nm

In my opinion the 136kW diesel will be the pick of the bunch.
