Ooh, this one is going to go quick, I’m telling you now. I’ve always had a soft spot for the 520d, because it just gets everything right. It’s that perfect middle ground where BMW sportiness meets proper executive comfort, with an engine that actually makes sense in the real world. It’s reliable, it’s got enough punch when you need it, and the fuel economy just seals the deal. For what you’re paying, the value here is honestly hard to beat, it’s the full diesel sedan package done properly.
And finding them like this is getting tough. People hang onto these cars because they just work, day in and day out. So when I came across this one, clean, FULL BMW service history, and clearly well looked after, there wasn’t even a second thought. It had to come in, go through the Dealers Choice process, and be brought up to the standard we expect.
The M Sport package just finishes it off perfectly. It gives the car that edge visually and dynamically, without taking away from what makes the 520d so good in the first place. I’ve been driving it back and forth during testing and recon, and it’s exactly what you want it to be. No nonsense, no gimmicks, just a solid, well-built car that looks good, drives even better, and does everything you ask of it without effort.
And then you look at the number. Just under 500k for something like this, in this condition, with this history? It’s not even a conversation, it’s the deal. You won’t find a better one out there, I already checked.
